Lêri-lothi Bî

Lêri-lothi Bî (/ˈlɘri/ /ˈloθi/ [triple] [festival]) is a subtropical Small Town located in the Jĭǐkhěn District of the Federation of Alveria.

The name Lêri-lothi Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Lêri-lothi Bî was founded by Zlèbè Shèdsh, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Lêri-lothi Bî has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 23°C (73°F). Lêri-lothi Bî receives an average of 219 cm/y (86 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Lêri-lothi Bî covers an area of nearly 4 km² (1 mi²), and an average elevation of 2374 m (7788 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Lêri-lothi Bî was founded durring the late 12th century in spring of the year 1073, by Zlèbè Shèdsh. The establishment of Lêri-lothi Bî suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Lêri-lothi Bî which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Lêri-lothi Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lêri-lothi Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Lêri-lothi Bî is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt split-log ties streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Lêri-lothi Bî's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The town's political statment focused walls are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Lêri-lothi Bî, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same divine, all performing the same rituals to bless and anoint buildings, streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holy symbol is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This certainly loves its divine. Asside form the revrent worship, you can see the citizens are preparing for something, and that something isn’t good. Weapons are worn openly. Defensive structures have been recently constructed to guard less used areas of the town. Merchants seem very eager to sell their wares at discount prices. Something is coming.

Civic Infrastructure

Lêri-lothi Bî has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Lêri-lothi Bî.

Lêri-lothi Bî has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Lêri-lothi Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Lêri-lothi Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Lêri-lothi Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Lêri-lothi Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Lêri-lothi Bî's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

The Goldpebble near Lêri-lothi Bî are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Lêri-lothi Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves square dance to channel Illusion energies of tier 1 via singing.
